Booking Terms
We aim to keep things as uncomplicated as possible and therefore we offer a straightforward letting agreement (with terms standard to many other self-catering holiday accommodation agreements). By paying the deposit and or full amount, you are accepting the booking conditions. These are summarised as follows:
Bookings & Reservations
A booking will only be accepted with a deposit of 1/3. This can be paid either by cheque or by credit/debit card.
The deposit is non-refundable.
The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Non-payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, it will be subject to the following charges:

Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival date - 100% of full cost

Between 2-4 weeks prior to arrival date - 90% of full cost

Between 4-6 weeks prior to arrival date - 75% of full cost

Holiday Insurance
It is strongly recommended that you take out adequate holiday insurance. This is to safe-guard against loss in the event of sickness, ill-health or any other unforeseen circumstances which may result in you having to cancel your holiday with us.

Cleaning & Security Deposit
With the balance an additional £250 will be required. This is fully refundable after your visit providing the property is left clean and tidy. If there have been any breakages or extra cleaning the costs will be deducted from the refund.

House Rules
We ask for guest to respect our neighbours by not causing any excessive noise while using the hot tub especially after 21,30, ( you are on holiday but others have to be at work in the morning)! Before using the hot tub please read the important safety information. If possible please remove linen from the beds used during your stay (duvet, sheet and top pillow cases) and leave in one of the pillow cases in each bedroom. With the used towels, please place these in the bath. Please do not enter the house in wet suits or bring in excessive amounts of sand. Please store wet suits in the garage on the rail provided.

Smoking
The accommodation is strictly non-smoking therefore Guests are asked not to smoke inside.

Pets
We are sorry but we are unable to accept pets in Sea Salt Croyde.

Cleaning, Damage & Breakages
Good care should be taken of the property and it should be left in a clean and tidy condition and in the same good state of repair as found. Any breakages should be reported and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.
Arrival & Departure
Holidays normally start and finish on a Saturday, short breaks are available, please ask for a weekend break of 3 nights - Friday to Monday or a mid week break of 4 nights Monday to Friday. The accommodation is available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.

Number of Guests
The number of people occupying Sea Salt Croyde must not exceed 7 + cot Groups Under the Age of 18 It is generally not our policy to allow bookings for groups where the none of its members are 18 years of age or over.

Cots
A cot and highchair can be provided if required, please indicate such a need on the booking form. Electricity, Heating & Linen Electricity is included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are provided. However, please note that neither the linen for the travel cot nor beach towels are provided.

The Letting
Occupation of Sea Salt Croyde is for the purposes of a holiday let only and Guests may not part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party agreed at the time of booking. In the unlikely event of any maintenance or other important issues arising, the owners and/or their agents may require reasonable access to the property to deal with any such issues.

Force Majeure & Liability
We will not provide any form of compensation if we are unable to fulfil our obligations due to events outside our control. For example, extreme weather conditions, terrorist threat, natural disaster, health risks, or other forces outside our control. The use of the accommodation is entirely at the Guests risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss, damage, expense or inconvenience to the Guests or their companions, guests or property.

Data Protection
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, Sea Salt Croyde will be the sole controller of your personal data. The use of your personal data is for the booking of accommodation with us and contact related to your stay. Data may be passed to third parties, such as a bank, but strictly to process your holiday booking with us.

Complaints
We endeavour to take every care to prepare our properties to a standard whereby our visitors will enjoy their holidays. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately, and we will endeavour to assist you. We strongly recommend taking out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
